Is there any need for jewelry when a man treasures modesty in his heart?

Will the rule of a kingdom hold any charm for a man who has the gift of good poetry?

एक दयालु व्यक्ति को कवच की क्या ज़रुरत ॽ

क्रोधित व्यक्ति को अपना ही घर बरबाद करने में कोई दुश्मन की क्या ज़रुरत ॽ

पैसों के लिये परेशान करनेवाले बच्चों के पिताको अपनी पूंजी जलाने के लिये आग की क्या ज़रुरत ॽ

शुभचिंतक मित्र साथ में है तो चिकित्सा सेवा पेटी की क्या ज़रुरत ॽ

यूं देखो तो दुश्चरित्रों का साथ नर्क द्वार होता है।

ज्ञानी को कभी भी धनसंपत्ति की लालसा नही होती ।

सुशीलको कभी गहनों की जरूरत पडती है ॽ

एक रचनात्मक कवि को राजगद्दी आकर्षित कर सकती है ॽ
